  BILLY BRAGG

Billy Bragg photo.JPG (68846 bytes)

Billy Bragg was recently described by The Times newspaper as a "national treasure".   In the two decades of his career Bragg has certainly made an indelible mark on the conscience of British music, becoming perhaps the most stalwart guardian of the radical dissenting tradition that stretches back over centuries of the country’s political, cultural and social history.  He recently celebrated his long career with the retrospective release of his finest work spanning 2 CDs called Must I Paint a Picture?.

This year has seen the release of Billy’s latest album Mr Love & Justice, to great critical acclaim.

“In the humble opinion of this particular writer, the finest lyricist this country has yet produced is the Bard of Barking himself” Stephen William Bragg The Guardian

“A songsmith at the peak of his powers” - MOJO
