Global Rhythm 2024

Ipswich's annual free festival of world music brings the best in world and roots music and dance to the perfect setting of Christchurch Park. 

The Martin Burley Peppery Stage presents - Aartwork  Folk meets drum and bass, reggae and jungle;  Balamuc East European and Balkan Romani folk music, songs and dances;  Hank Wangford & The Lost Cowboys Country maestro Hank Wangford and his all star Lost Cowboys with special guest Noel Dashwood;  Maroon Town An explosion of ska, rap, dub and dancehall; Kanda Bongo Man the joyous music and dance of central Africa.

Global Rhythm 2024 also features Caribbean culture on the Missile Sound Stage, free workshops for all ages and abilities, fantastic local acts on the Community Stage, and a range of food and drink stalls (or you could bring a picnic) for a great family day out.
